Remembering Michael Brown.

This is a piece quite dear to my heart, it's not only my first published piece in a recognised magazine, it's also on a topic that is quite sensitive for me, as I'm sure it is for many others. This article is dedicated to the memory of Michael Brown and all the black families who have lost loved ones at the hands of American law enforcement.

This was a project I created in my first year of my Journalism degree. Our task was to interview somebody "influential" and create an interactive magazine spread using Adobe InDesign. I managed to blag my way into interviewing Leomie Anderson after making contact with her on Twitter. Not bad for a first year.
